Cox & Kings Announces Veteran Travel Sales Executive Patrice Willoughby as Vice President, Strategic Accounts

LOS ANGELES, CA. August 14, 2017 - Cox & Kings, The Americas the world's most enduring travel brand, is pleased to announce Patrice Willoughby as Vice President of Strategic Accounts for Cox & Kings, The Americas. In her new role, Patrice will oversee the growth and direction of the company's sales efforts in The Americas and manage and foster relationships across the industry with a focus on travel professionals.

Previously, Patrice has held several prominent positions, including with Virtuoso, a network of the most elite luxury travel agencies and suppliers. In her tenure with Virtuoso, Patrice held various executive positions, including Vice President, International Business Development, where she executed operational and marketing plans in 18 countries and before that opened Australia, a new venture for Virtuoso. Just prior to joining Cox & Kings, The Americas she oversaw Business Development for ITeXplorer, an innovative new online platform for DMCs.

Prior to her tenure with Virtuoso, Patrice was with Forte Hotels in London, responsible for the creation of the company's regional sales teams and eventually responsible for Forte Hotels' worldwide offices. Returning to the US, Patrice set up the first sales, marketing and reservations network for Thistle Hotels in the Americas. Eventually, she was recruited by Cunard as Vice President, Sales of the Americas and held that position for three years, helping to transform and develop this iconic brand.

A truly global citizen, Patrice currently calls Miami home, having lived overseas for many years - from Doha, Sri Lanka, and Lyon, to Dacca, Kuala Lumpur, and the UK. Patrice balances her career with an active, busy and fun-filled lifestyle which includes a love of skiing, biking and the water and her continuing fascination traveling the world.
