The spectacular Balam Ballroom offers 6,200 square feet of natural light, versatile indoor and outdoor space, terraces and lawn areas with the ability to accommodate up to 320 people. The pre-function area of the ballroom features large sliding glass panels which make the space flexible with the ability to be divided into two separate rooms. The pre-function area can accommodate 200 guests for a reception and 100 seated in banquet rounds of 10. The panels open up to the Balam Garden, which can accommodate up to 100 guests seated banquet style. The ballroom is dominated by a beautifully crafted area rug made up of multi-colored stripes reminiscent of Mayan textile design, giving the space an authentic, local touch in line with the rest of the resort's vibrant, Mexican decor. The ballroom offers a highly trained audiovisual host that is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences. For smaller groups, Andaz offers five uniquely configured studios that feel more like a home than a meeting space and surround a beautiful courtyard. The Andaz Studios can be used for breakouts, smaller meetings, executive board meetings and a great option for hospitality suites. Each studio has the capacity to accommodate 40 people.

Andaz Mayakoba presents guests with locally inspired authentic experiences to enjoy throughout their stay. The resort has teamed up with a series of Cultural Insiders that reflect the Andaz brand promise to provide guests with inspiring and unscripted experiences through interaction with local culture. Andaz Mayakoba Cultural Insiders include Senkoe, a Riviera Maya graffiti artist and Sol Tamargo, who designed The Frida's Wardrobe experience which pays tribute to the famous Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo and was awarded the first-ever Best Virtuoso Experience Award. There is a resident Experience Curator available to corporate groups that plans events and activities to enjoy during breakout sessions throughout retreats and conferences. Groups can take part in classes such as Spanish language classes, Tacology classes or guacamole-making classes as well as kitesurfing, beach yoga, craft beer and tequila tasting and eco-cruises around the lagoon, all of which can be organized as private events for groups.

Other offerings for meetings include culinary creations from Executive Chef Vincent Wallez and Pastry Chef Daniel Moreno featuring authentic Mexican cuisine and options for customized menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meetings and events planners can choose from either buffet style and plated menus with the option for open bar and food station packages. The banquet menu at Andaz Mayakoba offers planners a variety of authentic and local specialties to choose from such as the Yucateco Buffet option that features regional Mexican dishes such as Xikil-pak (pumpkin seed) with roasted tomato and duck slices and Beef salpicon tostadas with avocado mousse and ginger cream.
