BEND, OR. October 30, 2017 - Tetherow, Central Oregon's premier resort, has hired Amanda Rose as its new director of food and beverage. Rose brings more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to Tetherow, working many of those years at luxury golf clubs and high-end restaurants in both Los Angeles and Hawaii.

“We are so thrilled to have Amanda join our growing team as director of food and beverage. Her unique background makes her a perfect addition to our team,” said Chris Van der Velde, managing partner at Tetherow. “Tetherow is lucky to be represented by such a seasoned hospitality veteran.”

Born in Chicago and raised in southern California, Rose started working in hospitality at a young age, becoming a regional manager of three Red Robin restaurants by the time she was just 19 years old. Rose considers herself a true people person, with her mid-west families values playing a direct influence on the way she does business. Some of Rose's executive management experience in the food and beverage industry include working at TS Restaurants (Dukeʼs Malibu), North Ranch Country Club and Sunset Hills Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif. Rose most recently had the privilege of serving as general manager for Immersion Brewing in Bend, Ore. after selling her event production business of 10 years. She has lived in Bend for more than 10 years and enjoys seizing every beautiful Central Oregon day by kayaking, skiing, hiking or drinking a delicious craft beer with her family.
