Hilton New Orleans Riverside Welcomes Marshall Hilliard as Director of Sales and Marketing

Hilton New Orleans Riverside announces today the appointment of Marshall Hilliard as the new director of sales and marketing. In his new role, Hilliard will lead all aspects of sales and marketing strategies at the 1,622-room property, including the planning and implementation of sales strategies for maximizing hotel revenue and occupancy.

Businesses must evolve to stay competitive and this is also true of employment positions within those organizations. In the hotel industry, for example, the role that HR professionals perform continues to broaden and expand. Today, they are generally responsible for five key areas - government compliance; payroll and benefits; employee acquisition and retention; training and development; and organizational structure and culture.
