Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino Completes Renovations

Aruba, Palm Beach, Aruba. March 05, 2018

Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is pleased to announce  the addition of three new rooms to Tradewinds Club as well as recent renovations to its guest rooms, Tradewinds Lounge, meeting space, and Ruth's Chris.

Giving a fresh new look to its accommodations, Aruba Marriott completed soft renovations of all 411 guest rooms, unveiling new bed frames, carpeting, furniture pieces, lighting fixtures, and artwork. The overall design scheme focuses on modern minimalism and an upscale, beach-chic theme with neutral and light blue tones, reflecting the refreshing aesthetic of the destination. In the resort's king guest rooms, standing showers have replaced the bathtubs to further modernize the atmosphere.

The adults-only, boutique Tradewinds Club relocated its lounge to the ground level, just steps away from the design-forward, adults-only H2Oasis pool. The lounge's new space features a stylish, vibrant setting and cozy restaurant seating, along with a station offering five complimentary food and beverage servings on a daily basis. Tradewinds Club is also putting the finishing touches on three new rooms, which will bring the total inventory to 52 rooms. Additional perks of Tradewinds Club include pre-arrival service, a separate check-in and concierge, reserved beach seating, complimentary internet access, and upgraded amenities.

As part of Aruba Marriott's ongoing eco-friendly developments, the resort now houses smart thermostats that react with guests' movement to save energy. The resort is currently transitioning from gas power to heat power with the installation of solar panels. As a result of the hotel's partnership with local turtle association, Tortugaruba Foundation, all plastic and foam boxes as well as straws at restaurant outlets have transitioned to acrylic-made products.

Additionally, the classic Ruth's Chris restaurant was renovated to reveal an upgraded design with new pastel blue seat coverings, light fixtures, as well as a modern bar with a stainless steel and glass framework, allowing for a light, airy atmosphere. The Bazaar gift shop was redesigned to provide an open setting with more windows and opportunities for natural light. Lastly, both the Amsterdam Ballroom and board room were renovated with new carpeting, wallpaper, wall decor, and artwork.

“We are very pleased with the complimentary feedback from our guests after they experienced  the brand new room product and elevated atmosphere throughout the entire hotel,” said Tom Calame, General Manager, “From adding restaurants to updating the design, we've undergone major renovations and additions over the last couple of years to further enhance the guest experience. We're looking forward to welcoming new and former guests to Aruba Marriott's new look with the same timeless charm.”
