Noble House Hotels & Resorts Promotes Don Dennis VP of Operations, West Coast and Kelly Commerford Regional Director of Marketing, West Coast

Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Ltd., a hotel ownership and management group with an upscale portfolio of 18 distinct and visually captivating properties spanning the U.S., today announced three leadership and management appointments to accommodate its impressive growth. Don Dennis has been named the new vice president of operations for the West Coast based in San Diego, Calif. and Kelly Commerford moves into a new position as the regional director of marketing for the West Coast and is also based in San Diego, Calif.  The two hospitality veterans are longtime members of the Noble House team and bring tremendous skill and passion to their positions.

Don Dennis has been with Noble House Hotels & Resorts for over 15 years and currently serves as the vice president of operations for the West Coast.  During his time with Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Don has worked with key properties within the portfolio including Hotel Viking, The Portofino Hotel & Marina, Hotel Deca, Monterey Beach Resort and Hilton San Diego Hotel & Spa before accepting the position of vice president, regional managing director for the West Coast.

Before joining Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Don served as the front office manager at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Penn.  Don holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Finance degree from the University of Texas.  Additionally, Don is honored to be on the San Diego Tourism Authority Board of Directors.

Kelly Commerford was promoted from the director of sales and marketing at Kona Kai Resort & Spa, to regional director of marketing for the West Coast where he manages the overall sales, marketing and catering teams for Kona Kai Resort & Spa, The Portofino Hotel & Marina, River Terrace Inn, Hotel Zoe Fisherman's Wharf and The Argonaut Hotel.  Commerford is responsible for overseeing the topline revenue for the properties as well as driving customer acquisition through strategic sales and marketing efforts including social media engagement.  With thirty-three years of hospitality experience, Commerford's strong leadership skills have resulted in the promotion of highly motivated salespeople and ensured the success of multi-million-dollar conference centers, conventions, and resort hotel operations.  His expertise spans across many travel sectors including corporate, national, regional, leisure, and convention and trade shows.

Prior to joining Kona Kai Resort & Spa, Commerford held the position of director of sales and marketing at The Commons Hotel in Minneapolis, a former Noble House Hotels & Resorts property.  Commerford had increased the hotel's revenue from $12.4 million to $17.1 million since joining The Commons in 2013, and also significantly increased revenues in food and beverage operations along with group bookings.  Commerford formerly served as director of sales and marketing for numerous celebrated properties including the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Conference Center & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, and Dolce Hayes Mansion in San Jose.
