Southeast Hotel Investments in Partnership With Strand Hospitality Services Affiliate Acquires Hampton Inn Atlanta – Fairburn, GA

Strand Hospitality Services, a leading provider of hospitality management, consulting and advisory services, recently announced that it assumed management of the Hampton Inn Atlanta - Fairburn, Georgia located at 7790 Ella Lane. The Fairburn hotel offers 99-rooms and will undergo a renovation within the next year. The hotel is conveniently located on I-85, 20 miles southwest of Atlanta and only 13 miles southwest of the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

This Hampton Inn is the first acquired property by Southeast Hotel Investments. The Fairburn hotel is the 8th Hampton brand in Strand's current portfolio. Strand Hospitality has a 33-year history of franchising with the Hampton by Hilton brand.

With headquarters shared between Charlotte and Myrtle Beach. Strand also has operations in Atlanta. Celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, the company began as a developer/owner of full-service Holiday Inns, gradually moving into third-party management. Today with over 35 select and full service hotels in its management portfolio, the company continues to grow through development, joint ventures and third-party management. It is approved to operate hotels under all the leading hotel brand families including; Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, Wyndham, and Choice.

Architecture & Design: Biophilic Design

The hospitality industry is constantly evolving to meet and exceed guest expectations. As a result, hotels are always on the lookout for new ways to improve the guest experience, and architecture and design is an essential part of this equation. Bold design is often the most effective way to make an exceptional first impression - an impression guests use to distinguish between brands. One design trend that is being embraced worldwide has become known as “Biophilic Design.” Biophilic design is based on the concept of biophilia, which is the theory that human beings have an innate tendency to seek out nature, natural elements, and natural forms.
