BA Signs Contract With Alamo Car Hire

DECEMBER 13, 2006. Alamo Rent A Car operated by Vanguard Car Rental, has won a 3 year contract with British Airways.

Alamo is a new partner within the British Airways Executive Club and the exclusive rental partner for British Airways Holidays. The global agreement between Alamo and British Airways is worldwide and covers all points of sale.

British Airways' Executive Club
Alamo will now be partners within the British Airways Executive Club giving members access to a global network and fleet and the opportunity to earn BA Miles when booking their Alamo vehicle.

Executive Club Gold members can earn 750 BA Miles, Silver members 625 BA Miles and Blue members 500 BA Miles regardless of the length of the rental, destination, or type of vehicle selected.

The extensive network of global Alamo locations and access to a fleet of approximately 300,000 vehicles is well aligned with BA's route network, giving Executive Club members excellent access to more parts of the world.

In addition, members will benefit from a hassle free Alamo rental experience in both leisure and business travel destinations, with a clear focus on doing everything possible to ensure customers arrive at their destination as quick as possible and without hassle.

British Airways Holidays
Alamo is now the exclusive provider of car rental services for pre-paid British Airways Holidays global car rental program. Alamo vehicle rental services are accessible across all British Airways Holidays booking channels worldwide, including http://www.ba.com and http://www.baholidays.com , plus British Airways reservations call centers. With an in-depth knowledge of the needs of the leisure traveler based on more than 30 years operating in this sector, Alamo will be able to deliver daily rental services tailor-made for British Airways Holidays customers.
