Elite Meetings Welcomes Susan Campbell to Top Editorial Post

SANTA BARBARA, CA, August 6, 2007. Elite Meetings International (EMI) announced today the addition of Susan Campbell as editorial director. In her new role, she will serve as editor in chief of Elite Meetings magazine and oversee the day-to-day editorial activities for the rapidly growing company.

Prior to joining the Elite Meetings team, Campbell spent 11 years working in the advertising and editorial departments for several high-end travel magazines, including Islands, Aqua, Destination Weddings & Honeymoons, and as senior editor of Resorts & Great Hotels and Meeting Traveler magazines.

CEO Kelly Foy says, “We’re excited to have Susan on board with us, particularly now, as we take our company to the next level. She brings a solid background in communicating the luxury hospitality experience—something we plan to draw on as we go forward with plans to launch additional issues of Elite Meetings magazine, including a Latin America and Caribbean edition next summer.”
