Benchmark Appoints DSOM for Stonewall

HOUSTON, TX, September 25, 2007. Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Steve Ludwig as director of sales & marketing for Stonewall Resort, located in Roanoke, West Virginia. Eric Terry, vice president of sales & marketing, made the announcement.

“I am very pleased to welcome Steve to Benchmark Hospitality at Stonewall Resort,” said Mr. Terry. ”A native West Virginian, he brings a wealth of industry expertise and intimate knowledge of the market to his new role.”

Mr. Ludwig was most recently corporate director of sales & marketing for Southern Hospitality, Inc., based in Oklahoma City. He previously held senior management positions with Red Lion Hotels, including serving as director of sales & marketing at Fess Parker’s Red Lion Resort in Santa Barbara, as regional director of sales and marketing for the company operating out of Seattle, and as general manager of the Red Lion Hotel in Houston. He began his hospitality career at the Charleston Marriott Town Center in Charleston, West Virginia.

Steve Ludwig is a graduate of West Virginia University, located in Morgantown. He and his family are relocating to the Bridgeport area.
