Opening July 2008, Seven Stars Resort Casts a Celestial Spell in the Turks and Caicos Islands
On 22 Acres Fronting Grace Bay, the Caribbean's Brightest New Star Features Oceanfront Suites, "Miss Seven" Service and Secluded Dune Pavilions

PROVIDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos Islands, January 30, 2008. Like the luminous stars for which it is named, Seven Stars resort is set to cast a dazzling glow on Grace Bay Beach on Providenciales’ northern coast when it opens in the Turks & Caicos Islands, July 2008. Named for the seven stars of the storied Pleiades constellation, it features 115 residential units which break out to 165 luxurious oceanfront and oceanview studios and suites of one- to four-bedrooms and penthouses in three beachfront buildings. A range of service innovations include “Miss Seven” service, a concierge team who travel by Segway to ensure rapid response to all manner of guest requests.
Prominently positioned on the powdery-white 12-mile beach, the fashionable 22-acre resort features magnificent ocean views and lushly landscaped gardens; courtyards; and secluded dune pavilions, a collection of hand-crafted bedded pavilions strategically placed in the dunes for the ultimate in privacy and relaxation. Nearby, rolling hills dotted with wild cotton and yellow orchids provide a beguiling backdrop for the resort’s architecturally striking buildings and oceanfront pool.
Believing that exceptional comfort, dining and service are the defining characteristics of the luxury experience, the resort enlisted Duncan MacArthur, a seasoned hotelier with more than 30 years of experience worldwide, and Jeffrey Boland, whose experience includes general manager and resident manager at two top Caribbean resorts, to ensure a seamless and personalized service experience throughout the jewel-like property.
Ranging from 620 to 6,000 square feet, the studios and suites feature expansive living areas with marble floors, broad wraparound terraces or private balconies and furnishings of hardwood, teak and mahogany. All have king beds and, depending on their size, several also have queen and twin beds. All feature cable TV and CD/DVD players with iPod connectivity. Chef-caliber kitchens in the suites have stainless steel GE Monogram appliances and granite countertops. Spacious five-fixture bathrooms are finished with Snaidero cabinetry and natural stone counters and feature hairdryers, terry bathrobes, slippers and luxury bath amenities. Many have a separate shower, Jacuzzi and double sinks. Twice-daily housekeeping service (including turndown) ensures that guests’ supply of plush luxury towels is constantly replenished.
Seven Stars’ superior culinary team oversees two appealing dining venues: the Sand Dollar, on the pool terrace, and La Pergola, a fine dining restaurant. The day begins with an extensive complimentary buffet breakfast on the terrace of La Pergola of fresh fruit and juices; freshly-baked croissants, muffins and breakfast breads; and made-to-order favorites. Breakfast is also available en suite. For lunch, the Sand Dollar serves a casual menu of light cuisine, sandwiches and salads.
In the evening, La Pergola offers inspired Mediterranean/Caribbean cuisine. The restaurant’s bar serves a broad variety of Caribbean rums while its extensive wine cellar features selections from the world’s leading wine-making regions. A private dining gazebo is ideal for those who wish to celebrate a special occasion.
Seven Stars offers a range of recreational opportunities, including tennis on two flood-lit courts, swimming (ocean and pool), sailing and windsurfing. For avid anglers, the islands’ offer extraordinary deep sea, bottom and bone fishing. Parasailing, scuba diving and golf at the nearby Karl Litton-designed 18-hole championship course are other popular pursuits. The on-site Spa/Fitness Center features massages, facials and body treatments, couples’ services and Cybex equipment.
Now accepting reservations for July 2008 onward, Seven Stars offers a variety of creative packages for families and reunions, couples, and adventure-minded vacationers. There is a wide range of accommodations with daily rates—which include full breakfast and transfers to and from the airport—ranging from $395 for a one bedroom Garden View Studio to $5,800 for a Royal Beachfront four bedroom suite and Grand Salon, depending on time of year and type of accommodation.
