Peter Ambros Named GM at Austin Radisson

Radisson Hotel Austin-North in Austin, Texas

DALLAS, TX, March 21, 2008. Leo Spriggs, President/CEO of Hospitality Management Corporation (HMC), recently named Peter Ambros to the general manager position at the Radisson Hotel Austin-North in Austin, Texas.

As a 40-year veteran of the hospitality and food and beverage industries, Ambros brings extensive experience to his new position. He has held positions ranging from Food and Beverage Director to General Manager to VP of Operations. His previous experience includes management positions with Radisson, Omni, Hyatt, Doubletree, and Crowne Plaza hotels at locations in New Orleans, Baltimore, and Chicago. He was recognized as one of the heroes of the devastation following Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, where, as general manager of a downtown New Orleans hotel, he and his staff took in, sheltered, and fed over two thousand people in the hotel at the height of the hurricane crisis.
