Outrigger Enterprises Group-Japan Sales division Names Marketing Manager

Hitomi Saunders

HONOLULU, HI, May 8, 2008. Danny Ojiri, Vice President of Japan Sales for Outrigger Enterprises Group, is pleased to announce the promotion of Hitomi Saunders to Marketing Manager for the company's Japan Sales division. In her new role, Saunders is responsible for overseeing all Japan promotional efforts and media activities for Outrigger's various business units and hotels. In addition, she will assist the Japan sales team's effort by enhancing and managing customer relations.

Saunders joined Outrigger in 2004 as a guest service representative at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach where she gained a keen understanding of Outrigger Hospitality. In 2006, she transferred to Outrigger's corporate offices as the sales and marketing assistant for the Japan sales division, the position she most currently held. "Hitomi has become an integral member of our Japan sales and marketing team. She has grown tremendously since joining our department, and in just a few short years has established an excellent reputation within the industry and with our Japan media contacts. We are proud to have Hitomi as part of the team; she will continue to be an important part of our efforts as the Outrigger portfolio continues to grow here and abroad" said Danny Ojiri.

Prior to joining Outrigger, Saunders worked for various distinguished companies including Hawaii Direct Telephone, formerly Summit Communications, SITEL Japan, Kawasaki Japan, Shinagawa Prince Hotel, Tokyo and Nippon Express Travel, Tokyo, Japan just to name a few. She holds an AA in Sociology from Otsuma Women's College, Tokyo, Japan.
