Rezidor Announces Radisson SAS Resort in Turkey

MAY 8, 2008. The Rezidor Hotel Group (STO:REZT) announces the Radisson SAS Resort Cesme in Turkey - the 305 room-property will open in Q3 2008. It is Rezidor's 4th hotel in the country, the company is already running two hotels in Istanbul and one in Ankara.

'Cesme is our first resort in Turkey', says Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor. 'Leisure hotels are a more and more important factor for our group, and we are glad to arrive in one of Eastern Europe's most popular holiday destinations.'

Cesme is located in the Western part of Turkey and famous for its beautiful nature and unspoiled coastline - the Radisson SAS Resort will await guests directly at the beachfront. Services will feature three restaurants (including one beach restaurant) and two bars, a spa comprising 3,500 square meters, an outdoor pool, a kids club, shops and a night club. For those who combine business and leisure the resorts will offer meeting & conference facilities.

The nearest airport is Izmir (90 kilometers) - and the whole region a centre of international tourism, Izmir itself offers a wide variety of restaurants, Ottoman architecture, thermal baths and an international Music Festival held every year in July.
