Oberoi Group Expands Contract to Include Trident Hotels

ORLANDO, FL / FRANKFURT, Germany, May 12, 2008. Trust International, the leading provider of reservation services and distribution technology, announced today that the service contract with The Oberoi Group, a leading hospitality chain, has been expanded to include the representation of Trident Hotels in all global distribution services (GDS). Trident Hotels will have the private label code “TH” in all GDS.

The Oberoi Group, which operates hotels under the luxury ‘Oberoi’ and five-star ‘Trident’ brands, has been a customer with Trust International since 1996 for private label GDS and internet distribution service (IDS) reservations. The expanded service includes the representation of all Trident hotels under a separate GDS code and the latest functionalities such as Total Pricing, which provides the total cost, inclusive of all known taxes, surcharges and extra option pricing within one display.

“Trust International has partnered with The Oberoi Group for the last 12 years, contributing to its success in the electronic channels. We are, therefore, happy to engage Trust in extending distribution support to Trident Hotels,” said Manish Singh, Vice President, Distribution and Revenue Management, The Oberoi Group. “Trust has been consistent in offering the latest technology features and connections as well as excellent customer service. This was reassuring for us in launching the Trident brand in the GDS."

“We are proud of the confidence that The Oberoi Group has expressed in our services. It will be our pleasure to support the Trident brand’s growth plan and success,” commented Richard Wiegmann, Chief Operating Officer, Trust International.
