MONTAUK, NY, May 13, 2008. Montauk Yacht Club Resort & Marina has announced the appointment of Keith Battaglia as director of sales & marketing for the historic property. Linda Cerra, general manager, made the announcement.

“I am so pleased to formally welcome Keith to our team at Montauk Yacht Club,” stated Ms. Cerra. “He brings extensive experience within the Long Island and New York markets to his new position, in addition to a strong familiarity with our property.”

Battaglia has also served as director of sales for The Chattanoogan, an urban resort situated in downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee. He held the same position for the former World Trade Institute Conference Center, now the Downtown Conference Center, located in lower Manhattan, New York City.

Mr. Battaglia was part of the opening team for the AT&T Learning Center in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. Earlier in his career he served as marketing manager for the opening of the JP Morgan Conference & Training Facility, located on Wall Street in New York City. A native of New York, Mr. Battaglia earned his bachelor's degree from Boston University. He has relocated to Montauk.
