Horizon’s Pat Greenwald Named VP Member Development for NEWH

Horizon Project Advisors - Renovation & New Construction Proj Mgmt

JULY 22, 2008. Patricia Greenwald, Director of Hospitality and Retail at Horizon Project Advisors, a leading New York based project management firm, has been named Vice President of Membership Development of the Greater New York Chapter of Network of Executive Women in Hospitality (NEWH). She plans to apply her background and talent in the hospitality field to work toward the goal of doubling the chapter’s membership. Ms. Greenwald will also share in the position of Vice President of Development for the chapter with Sande Haar of ISC. Each year NEWH hosts a number of networking and social events including fundraisers to support of its scholarship program.

“I look forward to serving the Greater New York Chapter to help grow the membership. The hospitality sector is growing in New York and NEWH offers many opportunities for networking, education and business development. We have many talented people who are part of the organization and we would like to see greater participation from professionals from the hotel sector,” said Ms. Greenwald.

Ms. Greenwald has over 20 years of experience in property development and construction property operations and project management. She recently completed overseeing the renovation of the Doubletree Hotel in Bethesda, Maryland, for Thayer Lodging. She currently is working on the review of test fits for a Hyatt Hotel in Chicago for RLJ Hotels. Ms. Greenwald played an integral role in the renovations and improvements to the Crowe Plaza Times Square Manhattan from1996 to 2006. She also handled renovations and enhancement at El Conquistador, Fajardo, Puerto Rico and monitored work at the Westin Indianapolis, Indianapolis, Indiana.
