LOS ANGELES, Calif. (September 15, 2015) - Laurus Corporation, a Los-Angeles based real estate investment and development company, announced today the completion of a $15 million property-wide renovation of the Hunt Valley Inn in Baltimore, Maryland. The top-to-bottom remodel includes updates for the hotel's function spaces, guest rooms, common amenities, and the reinstatement of the hotel's legendary haute cuisine, distinguished service and timeless elegance. The hotel, now joined with the upscale Wyndham Grand Collection, is a premier destination for conferences and meeting groups, business travelers and Baltimoreans seeking unforgettable experiences.

The hotel's newly re-designed Cinnamon Tree restaurant offers destination dining in a stylish and contemporary setting with Maryland culinary staples including a Crab Cake Sandwich on a Brioche Bun and Maryland Surf & Turf with Filet Mignon. The main dining room now celebrates the union of rustic and contemporary with touches that include dramatic glass link chandeliers, tables of dark wood, tufted banquettes and dining chairs covered in velvety smooth fabrics. Custom millwork has also been added to the walls, hinting at Baltimore's equestrian heritage.

The all-encompassing hotel repositioning also featured an overhaul of the property's ample meeting and event spaces, including the 33,000 square-foot convention hall, the addition of an outdoor event lawn and new indoor and outdoor pre-function spaces. The Hunt Valley Inn's 393 guest rooms were completely redesigned and the property now offers complimentary Wi-Fi and parking, all in a verdant campus setting. Other hotel amenities include the Polo Lounge & Bar, Cafe 245, a swim-through indoor/outdoor heated pool, three tennis courts and a modern fitness center.

“Hunt Valley Inn has experienced substantial growth in revenue since the re-positioning, which speaks to the new level of refinement the hotel is now able to offer business and leisure travelers alike,” said Andres Szita, Chairman of Laurus Corporation. “The thoughtful upgrades and revitalized culinary program are perfectly in step with our value-add strategy for the hospitality portfolio and are a clear reflection of the neighborhood's stately homes and longstanding equestrian tradition.”

Hunt Valley Inn sits on 18 landscaped acres and is superbly situated in one of the most affluent areas of Baltimore near Washington, D.C. and near Baltimore's business hubs with convenient access to the city's downtown attractions, leisure venues and Baltimore-Washington International Airport.

The hotel is surrounded by numerous Class A office parks, home to several Fortune 1000 companies and national corporations, within walking distance to Hunt Valley Towne Center open-air shopping and is in close proximity to leading corporations including AAI/Textron Systems, Bank of America, Becton Dickinson, Dunbar Armored, McCormick & Company, Inc., Stanley Black & Decker, Procter & Gamble and Traveler's Insurance.
