USA, San Luis Obispo, California. October 22, 2019

Over the last few months, TEN OVER MEDIA was named a winner in the MarCom Awards, Summit Creative Awards, GlobalTrend Video Awards, and Muse Creative Awards, recognizing their latest two video campaigns released in early 2019 for Sun RV Resorts as leading in video marketing. The two 3D animated pre-opening campaigns for River Run and Carolina Pines RV Resorts were created by a team of active filmmakers and architects using original methods rarely seen in the building industry. The ground-breaking promotional films and TV commercials were rewarded with Outstanding Integrated Marketing Campaigns, Best Integrated Campaigns for Consumers, Best Property Videos, and Best Video Campaigns of the year.

"We are extremely proud and deeply honored for being recognized internationally as charting the course of 3D videography through marketing content" said Mathieu Anfosso, Creative Director at TEN OVER MEDIA. "Our team of professionals united the film, advertising and AEC industries to create a unique product, and we look forward to continuously pushing the industry in a positive direction."

Competing with a total of nearly 15,000 submissions, the seven international awards received by TEN OVER MEDIA honor creative, marketing and communication excellence, inspiring achievements, trendsetting the future of videography, and achievement in service to the community. The work produced by TEN OVER MEDIA for River Run and Carolina Pines RV Resort was selected for its achievements on videography, cinematography, sound design, directing, writing, channel adaptation, storytelling, and consistency in delivering a campaign message through multiple platforms.

"The accuracy of the videos is impeccable," said Maher Sarafa, President of Sun RV Marketing. "Not only are the videos brand consistent, but it shows exactly what the resort is going to look like."

TEN OVER MEDIA crafted branded video assets to share with the resort's future clients that added value to the resorts' marketing campaigns. "I can tell you unequivocally that the TEN OVER MEDIA videos were integral to driving bookings and are the primary marketing driver for reservations," Maher emphasized.

"There is no "right way" to represent a property. There's only your way. Translating all of the strategic tools that our clients have carefully crafted into 3D content should be within everyone's reach," said Mathieu. "Today, our team is devoted to do what we do best: bringing harmony between a brand and its best friend, the customer."

Revenue Management: Maximizing Profit

Hotel Revenue Management continues to evolve at a blistering pace. Driven by technological innovation and new distribution channels, there are some dynamic opportunities for expansion in this fast-growing field. The technology is primarily designed to help revenue managers further refine their operations and pricing models to maximize hotel profit. For example, hotels can't be all things to all people, so a key strategy is to precisely identify their target audience. By employing geo-targeting techniques and analyzing behavior such as previous bookings, on-property purchases and online shopping practices, there is an increased capability to define guest demographics. By segmenting customers in more specific ways, hotels are able to create more personalized experiences which, in turn, allow managers to optimize their room rates. It is also an effective way to fulfill the unique needs and preferences of the individual. Another methodology is to consistently monitor the competition's pricing strategies. There are software tools that analyze a competitor's current rates, and then allow a hotel to make its own pricing adjustments. It is also a useful means to conduct forecasting models. Other technologies that are being integrated into a revenue manager's toolkit include Artificial Intelligence in the form of automated algorithms, and Voice Recognition (VR) for data inquiries, rate changes, and booking behavior. Predictive and analytic software programs are also being leveraged to provide more forward-looking data, instead of the usual reliance on historical performance. These metrics allow managers to be more proactive - rather than reactive - with their revenue strategy. The October issue of the Hotel Business Review will examine these developments and report on how some leading hotels are executing their revenue management strategies.
