Music, BBQ & Hospitality Technology
In just a few weeks, dozens of hospitality industry technology companies will descend upon Austin. Along with over 5,000 attendees of HiTEC 2015, they will consume copious amounts of BBQ, perhaps indulge themselves in the bars on 6th Street and almost certainly kick back and listen to some great music. And on the trade show floor those hospitality technology companies will tell hoteliers how their software and hardware solutions are absolutely essential to their hotel's business success.
If you haven't been to HiTEC before, it is the ultimate event to make connections with the today's leading hospitality technology companies. And, even if you are not looking to buy something, it is an awesome event to geek-out on hospitality technology in general. My personal favorite at 2014's HiTEC in Los Angeles – the LG Styler Steam Closet that freshens-up your clothes and gets the wrinkles out thus saving trips to the dry cleaner. LG was pitching the Styler to be offered in 5-star hotels and business hotels and you can bet they will be featuring their upgraded model in LG's over-the-top booth at HiTEC 2015!
However, the start of a successful hospitality technology strategy starts long before you touch down in Austin…
In 2015, Hospitality Technology Strategy is Not Getting Easier
