Hotel Plus Celebrates HITEC Success

Companies were delighted to discover that our whole business strategy increases a hotel’s cash

ORLANDO, FL, June 29, 2007. Hotel Plus - representing the technological vanguard of online revenue generation, marketing and distribution - is celebrating its attendance at HITEC this year. The Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference took place in Orlando, Florida from June 25-28.

HITEC saw a unique combination of top-notch hospitality technology education, lead by industry peers and experts, and a glittering showcase of the latest products and services from more than 300 leading hospitality industry players, including Hotel Plus.

The rapidly growing e-Marketing company met many of its customers for the first time at the giant industry event - and generated a great deal of new interest in its ground breaking industry offerings.

Shaun Sima, Chief Operations Officer, Hotel Plus, says: "This was our first time at HITEC and presented the perfect opportunity for us to meet many of our members for the first time, too. During the three days of the event, we strengthened existing partnerships and formed some exciting new alliances. We also took time to discuss distribution strategies with industry peers and other hospitality executives."

And the Hotel Plus team was easy to spot - they all wore bright yellow t-shirts, with envious exhibitors commenting that the staff really stood out among all the suits and polo shirts.

"As well as making us easy to identify, the shirts acted a great publicity tool, and I think they also showed people that we really stand out in terms of the business, too," says Shaun Sima of Hotel Plus. The COO added that clients old and new all agreed that 'cash flow is king'.

"Companies were delighted to discover that our whole business strategy revolves around methods of increasing a hotel's cash flow. Old online distribution strategies saw hotels waiting for payment from wholesalers and third parties, and relinquishing control over how and at what rate their product is sold. Our way - the way of the future - focuses on cash flow and gives hotels complete control of how, when and how much their product is sold for," says Shaun Sima.

Bearing this in mind, it's no surprise that HITEC proved very successful for Hotel Plus who saw a hundreds of prospective clients, including management and ownership companies, request online presentations regarding their unique offerings that Hotel Plus will conduct over coming weeks.
