Heathman Hotel Kirkland Continues to Expand Executive Team
JUNE 19, 2007. The Heathman Hotel, Restaurant and Spa-Kirkland (the Heathman Hotel), an independent, luxury hotel located blocks from the city's vibrant downtown waterfront, has added hotel staff. Carl Turpin joins the Heathman Hotel as director of private dining and Belinda Jensen as senior private dining sales manager. The hotel's private dining menus will be created by the onsite wine country-inspired restaurant, Trellis, whose menu evolves with the seasons, always using the best of the current harvest as a foundation for its farm to table philosophy. Turpin and Jensen will be responsible for wedding bookings, social and business events, and catering details. The hotel is scheduled to open next month.

Turpin brings more than 25 years in the hospitality industry to the Heathman, drawn to the team because of similar values and a strong commitment to, and history of, excellence. With more than seven years in the hospitality and catering industry, Jensen joins the Heathman team from the Hilton Bellevue where she served as the director of catering. Prior to this she held various catering positions with the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, Wash. She is a member of the National Association of Catering Executives and has a passion for flawless guest experiences and unique, high quality food.
