Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell Rebrands as Ypartnership

JUNE 18, 2007. Worldwide advertising and public relations agency Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell has changed its name to Ypartnership. 'Our new name reflects the expanded roster of active partners and key executives in the organization as well as our new agency model that totally rethinks how we do business. It also underscores our expanded capabilities to reach and influence consumers in a constantly changing marketplace,' said Peter Yesawich, CEO and founder of the former YPB&R.

The independent Orlando-based agency has spent the last three years recruiting best-of-class talent from across the country. Among the agency's new arrivals are Larry Tolpin, former Worldwide Creative Director of J. Walter Thompson and Regional Creative Chairman of BBDO Worldwide; Chris Davidson, who served most recently as National Director of Loyalty Marketing for Harrah's Entertainment; Rick Hensler, EVP of Promotion Marketing, formerly the head of national promotions for Burger King, Anheuser-Busch and Universal Studios; Noel Perkins, former National Director of Public Relations for AT&T Wireless and PR Director for Ginn Resorts; Elizabeth Ortega, Vice President Public Relations for Latin America, previous Communications Director for Astigarraga Davis, Miami; Dave Pritchett, Chief Growth Officer, a senior marketing executive with both Disney and Gaylord Entertainment. Overall, the agency has hired more than 40 senior players bridging all marketing disciplines.
