MSI Partners with Leading eLearning Development

d'Vinci Interactive will provide web based training tools for MSI Products

. October 14, 2008

PHOENIX, AZ, February 12, 2008. Multi-Systems, Inc. (MSI), a leading supplier of hotel technology and property management systems and d'Vinci Interactive, a leading provider of quality digital training products announced a new partnership to create web based training (WBT) tools for MSI's Enterprise suite of products.

With staff turnover and training a subject of concern for many hotel managers the new program offers enormous benefits as WBT is available 24\7 and delivers consistent information. By incorporating intensive simulations, practices and certifications, WBT provides a quantifiable method for demonstrating the expertise of a staff member or the entire staff of a property.

EnterprisePM, MSI's ASP delivered property management system, was a good choice to start eLearning development. Built using Microsoft's .net program with one click deployment, EnterprisePM can be delivered remotely and hosted centrally - an experience that will be enhanced with the WBT tools. Because d'Vinci Interactive specializes in creating interesting, informative online learning, the new EnterprisePM training will enhance new employee orientation at any of the sites using EnterprisePM. The initial WBT will include front desk, reservations and management functions and will be available Spring of 2008.

Bill Wolfe, Director of Operations for MSI and the Project Manager for MSI's web based training (WBT) project was tasked with finding the right partner to provide up to date learning tools. With extensive experience creating top-quality computer-based solutions that participants learn from and enjoy - d'Vinci was a great choice. The fact that d'Vinci has experience with hospitality related WBT was an added bonus.

"E-learning is rapidly growing in the industry as a form of training delivery, we just had to get on board. The advantages to both MSI and our customers make this a win-win situation." Said Bill Wolfe. "d'Vinci's experience with hotel property management systems, in addition to their corporate culture being very similar to ours, makes this a perfect partnership."

"Web Based Training is perfect for the hospitality industry as so many entry level positions require computer-based expertise and hotels require a well trained staff if they are to provide great guest service," stated Vincent Hellane, the President of d'Vinci Interactive. "We plan for this course to have an immediate, positive impact on employees as they rapidly master the software - which will translate to a better guest experience. For the hotel, that means more satisfied customers and greater employee retention! Our whole development team is excited about this project and the impact it will have on MSI and their customers."

"MSI understands the importance of providing quality solutions at the right price point." Stated Tim Tiller, MSW, President of MSI. "We listen to our customers and heard loud and clear that training new staff members needs to be easy and affordable - that was our focus in deciding to proceed with d'Vinci Interactive."
