. October 14, 2008

JUNE 14, 2007. Melco PBL Entertainment (Macau) Limited (NASDAQ: MPEL), a developer and owner of casino gaming and entertainment resort facilities focused exclusively on the Macau market, confirms that Crown Macau opened approximately 60 hotel rooms to the public last weekend.

The hotel is on track to meet its target of having a full complement of 216 rooms, which includes all villas and suites, operational by the end of July 2007.

Crown Macau management has confirmed that approximately 70% of the VIP and all of the premium mass gaming facilities are now completed at the property. Five of the six restaurants at Crown Macau are currently in operation.

Lawrence Ho, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chairman of Melco PBL Entertainment, said: 'There is no doubt that Crown Macau has raised the standard for servicing VIP customers in Macau. The initial reaction and feedback from our customers and partners has been very positive, recognizing Crown Macau's outstanding design and elegance. We are confident that Crown Macau can now offer the six-star experience we promised our guests.

'Opening the remaining room inventory at the property remains our number one focus. Our quality standards will not be compromised, but our VIP offering will not be fully operational until all hotel facilities are available.'

The 36-storey property contains approximately 183,000 square feet of gaming space. The full gaming table configuration includes 80 VIP tables, 54% more than initially planned, reflecting Crown Macau's strong positioning as the only casino in Macau designed and built to specifically cater to the VIP patron.
