Tecton Names Jose Mojica GM Courtyard Miramar San Juan

SAN JUAN, PR, June 12, 2007. Tecton Hospitality announced today that it has named Jose Mojica general manager of the Courtyard Marriot Miramar, which is located at 801 Ponce De Leon Avenue in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Tecton manages the Courtyard Marriot Miramar.

Mojica has more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality management field. Prior to joining Tecton, Mojica was a general manager for Holiday Inn Express in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he directed the operations of the 115-room hotel with a focus on revenue management and employee retention. Earlier in his career, he served as the assistant executive housekeeper and assistant human resources director for Embassy Suites Hotel and Casino in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

"Jose's history of improving customer quality scores and employee retention makes him a great fit for our company, and we are confident that he will contribute greatly to the success at our hotel," said Raul Leal, president of Tecton Hospitality.

Mojica has an associate's degree in travel and tourism from Burkley College in Boston, Mass. He is a certified Intercontinental Hotels Group general manager and an AHLA trainer for the Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively (C.A.R.E) program.
