Waterford Appoints GM Residence Inn Danbury

JUNE 12, 2007. Waterford Hotel Group has appointed Rupinder Kaur as the new General Manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott in Danbury, CT . As General Manager, Kaur will be responsible for all of the hotel's operations, sales and administration. The 78-room Residence Inn is professionally managed by Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel management firm currently operating 26 properties in 8 states.

Rupinder joined Waterford Hotel Group in late 2004 at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in Groton, CT, where she was promoted to Front Desk Manager in 2005. A year later Rupinder joined Waterford's Four Points in Norwalk, CT, assuming the role of Assistant General Manager. Rupinder, who holds a Bachelors Degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management, began her career at the Hyatt Regency in New Delhi, India. Before joining Waterford, she served as Front Office Manger of the Grand Hyatt, also in New Delhi.
