SAN DIEGO, CA, June 12, 2007. The Pearl Hotel, a new mid-priced boutique property in San Diego, California, has announced the appointment of Arron L. Reynolds as its first general manager. Located in the historic Point Loma section, The Pearl is currently under construction and slated for completion in late summer 2007. The property features 23 designer rooms of contemporary and vintage-modern flair; a poolside lounge and theater; and a bar and restaurant serving signature cocktails and global-minded cuisine.

As general manager, Reynolds will oversee the day-to-day operations for The Pearl, which is owned and operated by L.W.P. Group, Inc. Most recently, Reynolds was guest services manager at the Loews Coronado Resort in San Diego, a four-diamond property, where he worked for three years and managed a staff of 50-plus employees. Prior to that, he worked as event coordinator at Courtyard Marriott in downtown San Diego with responsibility for addressing the hotel's large convention clientele.

"Arron's admirable guest service, management, and marketing experience makes him the perfect choice to launch a lifestyle concept like The Pearl Hotel," said Gregory Strangman, CEO of L.W.P. Group, Inc. "He possesses great knowledge of luxury and business-class hotel segments. Additionally, as a San Diego native, his hometown familiarity and passion will spark contagious excitement among hotel staff and guests."

Reynolds, who possesses 10 years hotel experience in the San Diego market, remarked: "I'm extremely glad to join The Pearl and take a lead role in presenting a new level of accessibility to San Diego hotel scene. He added "Guests will appreciate a mid-price concept that also delivers attentive service and luxe living."
