WASHINGTON, DC, June 4, 2007. As the annual Marine Corps Marathon approaches, Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC will roll out the red carpet for all those runners wanting to pamper themselves pre and post marathon. "We want to create a peaceful, soothing environment that will give our marathon guests just the right TLC after their hours and hours of arduous training. It is our mission to ensure that all of our guests who will be running will be relaxed, rested and in a positive state of mind on Sunday, October 28," says Christopher B. Hunsberger, regional vice president and general manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC.

Hunsberger, a marathon runner himself, is very aware of the needs of a marathon participant and knows how important the days leading up to the big day are - especially the night before. He also understands no matter if it is the first time or the 20th time, family and friends along the race route cheering for their loved ones make all the difference in the world.

So, the hotel staff will reserve a space along the route in Georgetown, where hotel guests and families of the runners can stand when the runners pass by on Sunday, October 28. The hotel shuttle service will then transport the hotel marathon guests to the finish line to greet their loved one at the end of their journey.

The two-night weekend Running With Care Package is only available from October 26 - October 29, 2007 and starts at $495 per night. The package includes:

. Overnight accommodations for two in a deluxe room

. Care package at check-in with bottled water, fruit, shot blocks and an energy drink. Each runner will receive his own personalized sign to affix to his/her race jersey.

. Special carbo-loading menu available the night before the marathon in Seasons estaurant and through in-room dining

. Continental breakfast to go for two to take to the race site on Sunday morning.

. Shuttle service to and from the race site with bag check. (Schedule of pick-up and drop offs to be given at check-in.)

. One 50 minute deep tissue massage scheduled for pre-race or for recovery
