Auberge Buys Esperanza in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

OCTOBER 17, 2006. Auberge Resorts announced that the company and partners The Levy Organization have completed the acquisition of Esperanza, the award-winning luxury resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Auberge Resorts has operated the resort since it opened in 2002.

Spread across 17 lushly landscaped acres overlooking two secluded coves on the Sea of Cortez, Esperanza offers earthy elegance with its collection of warm-hued casitas, winding stone pathways, waterfront pools, accommodations and private residence club, all featuring spectacular 180-degree vistas of sky and sea. The hotel features 56 suites appointed with original Latin American artwork and handcrafted furnishings, private infinity-edge soaking pools, a terraced ocean-front restaurant and an acclaimed spa featuring private garden treatment rooms, steam caves and grottos. The resort also offers a 60-villa private residence club.

Since it opened, Esperanza has received the highest accolades from guests, the travel industry and the media and has consistently been praised as one of Mexico's top resorts in Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Robb Report.
