. October 14, 2008

AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA (March 24, 2008) - Planning its first Asian conference-Asian Hospitality Finance & Technology Conference-Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP(R)) has worked hard to create a conference fitted to Asian hospitality professionals. With assistance from the HFTP Asian Chapter, HFTP has organized an education conference that focuses on regional issues and hot topics in the hospitality industry. The conference, sponsored by Easy (Ez) Revenue Management Solutions, is co-located with FHA 2008 (Food&HotelAsia) on 23-25 April 2008 at the Singapore Expo Center.

"HFTP has a global reputation for providing superior professional education in finance and technology, so it is only fitting to have the Asian Hospitality Finance & Technology Conference be a part of FHA 2008," said Ting Siew Mui, project director of lifestyle events for Singapore Exhibition Services Pte Ltd, organizer of FHA 2008. "With education from HFTP, combined with the largest international food and hospitality trade event in the Asia-Pacific region, this conference is a can't-miss opportunity."

Online registration is now available on the HFTP web site. The conference consists of a financial and a technology track, with topics like the future of hospitality technology, retention practices in the hospitality industry, technology convergence in hotels and more. Registration includes admittance to the FHA2008 expo floor, which consists of 3,300+ exhibitors.

"With the HFTP Asia Chapter just over a year old, having an educational conference like this is the natural next step," said James Lee, president of the HFTP Asia Chapter and director of finance at The Regent Singapore. "I am excited to show area professionals the benefits to being connected to a global community like HFTP."

The conference also offers certification review sessions and exams for the Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive (CHAE) and the Certified Hospitality Technology Professional (CHTP). Certification review sessions are Thursday, with the exams on Friday.
