Desires Hotels(TM) Selected to Manage Astor Hotel in Miami Beach

MIAMI BEACH, FL, September 28, 2005. Desires Hotels(TM), the boutique division of Tecton Hospitality, announced today that it has signed a contract to manage the Astor Hotel in Miami Beach.

Designed by architect T. Hunter Henderson in 1936, the 40-room luxury Art Deco hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Astor is a favorite destination of celebrities, artists and fashion photographers, as well as business executives and leisure travelers from around the world. It has long been regarded as one of the most posh, sought-after hotels on the beach.
