Blumberg & Associates Opens Residence Inn in Dothan, AL
APRIL 23, 2008. Joined by Mayor Pat Thomas plus associates from its corporate office and area hotels, Dothan-based hotel development and management company Larry Blumberg & Associates (LBA) today officially opened its 50th hotel, an 84-room Residence Inn by Marriott, at 186 Hospitality Lane here.
In keeping with its national community service initiative, LBA C.A.R.E.S., company President Barry Kraselsky presented a check for $10,000 to Wiregrass Habitat for Humanity that will provide the framing for a family's home; and hotel General Manager Monica Sadhwani presented 50 engraved door knockers for 50 Habitat partner families' front doors on behalf of the new Residence Inn.
"It is with immense pride that we open our 50th hotel, and especially meaningful because we reached this milestone in our own hometown," said Kraselsky. "While hotels have changed a lot during our 30 years in the hospitality industry, one thing hasn't: the superb service that all of our associates deliver to their guests and within their communities."
