Flyte Systems Triples Size in First Year

At HITEC '08 Flyte will cement leadership, build partnerships

CHICAGO, IL, June 10, 2008. Flyte Systems, the leading provider of airport travel information displays and digital signage content for the hospitality industry, digital signage, convention centers and related businesses, has seen its sales triple in its first year of business, driven by the exploding trend of travelers demanding guest centric solutions that provide airline flight information and add confidence to air travel.

.

Flyte Systems President Brian Reynolds points to the service differentiators and increased revenue stream his products provide to clients. "In this current climate of challenging air travel, guests are demanding effective new ways to make their travel day go smoother," he said. "Not only do Flyte's products deliver what guests want, many of our hotel and conference center clients have implemented some very creative options to assist stranded guests that also add to the bottom line."

The next in-room coffee maker

The popularity of Flyte's products, Reynolds says, can be summed up by one hotel general manager's enthusiastic review. "He called it the 'next in-room coffee maker' because his guests, who flocked to the FlyteBoard screen in the lobby every day, wanted to know when they would be able to get the information piped directly into their rooms," said Reynolds, who was quick to note that option is already available through FlyteChannel.

Airline information drives partnerships, growth

Reynolds also credits Flyte's impressive growth to a series of recent partnerships with leading digital signage providers, another field that is experiencing rapid expansion. "Our product adds value to the digital content our signage partners provide," Reynolds noted. "It is easily integrated to digital technology and automatically updates. It is truly an 'add and go' element that fills a very necessary need in today's travel industry."

HITEC highlights

In addition to its HITEC presence in Booth 351, Reynolds said Flyte Systems will also be providing conference attendees with boarding pass printing and delivering live airline information feed for flights at Austin International Airport to other booth locations on the floor in partnership with digital signage and in-room entertainment vendors. "These partnerships clearly demonstrate how adaptable and valuable our product is," said Reynolds, "and how much value it adds to other company's offerings, particularly digital signage and entertainment providers." Reynolds invites attendees to experience first-hand the convenience and security they bring to a traveler's day.
