SONOMA COUNTY, CA, July 7, 2008. Wine country visitors can now book a room, reserve a hot table or find a tasting room from their mobile phone. The Sonoma County Tourism Bureau rolled out their new mobile website, mobile.sonomacounty.com this month.

The mobile site allows visitors quick access to vacation information on their phone or PDA from everywhere.

With mobile.sonomacounty.com, visitors can quickly view the countywide event calendar, book a restaurant reservation using OpenTable and locate a hotel, inn, B&B or vacation rental.

According to Destination Analysts David Bratton, nearly 17% of travelers make vacation decisions using their mobile phones.
