Adds Complimentary Buffet Breakfast and Evening Happy Hour

. October 14, 2008

DENVER, CO, July 10, 2008. The Magnolia Hotel Denver today announced a complete $7 million renovation, which has ramped up the landmark hotel's style and superior service just in time for one of the hotel's busiest summers on record.

"It's an exciting time for the City of Denver right now, and an exciting time for The Magnolia Hotel," said Mark Wellbrock, regional director of sales for Magnolia Hotels. "The renovation has truly brought The Magnolia to its full potential, and we are thrilled to showcase our new and much improved product to the community."

The 246-room Magnolia Hotel was renovated from top to bottom, including new paint, carpet, furnishings, bedding, d'ecor and fixtures throughout. Bathrooms were redone with oversized Kohler porcelain sinks, marble tile and new fixtures. The Magnolia has a new, enhanced linen package that rivals the world's finest hotels-guests are already raving about the incredibly comfortable bedding. Consisting of a top-of-the-line Sealy mattress, a mattress topper and mattress pad, 300-thread-count sheets, a triple-sheeted down blanket and an accent throw, plus two white goose down-filled pillows and two poly-filled pillows, the deluxe bedding ensemble ensures a restful night's sleep. New furnishings include contemporary dark wood tables, dressers and nightstands in classic, clean lines, along with oversized sofas and chairs. Historical elements including the architecturally alluring 11-and-12-foot tall ceilings with crown molding and oversized original windows make the guestrooms and suites open and inviting.

The one-bedroom Executive Suites were completely redesigned to meet the needs of today's busy traveler. The suites feature a luxurious modern style with hardwood floors and contemporary dark wood furniture. The majority of the suites have fireplaces, and new studio kitchens with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and pendant lighting. California king beds replaced queen beds. Oversized high-tech safes, large enough to fit a laptop computer, have been installed in each closet. No two suites are alike... all are unique in size and layout, giving each suite its own one-of-a-kind character and appeal. With 119 suites, The Magnolia Hotel has the largest concentration of suites among downtown Denver hotels

Technology also was factored into the renovation, and most suites have a flat-screen TV. Both hard-wired and wireless Internet access is available free of charge in all guestrooms and suites. Currently, clocks with MP3 and iPod connectivity are being installed in all guestrooms and suites. Additionally, the full-time Concierge staff has a software program enabling them to customize agendas for guests that can be e-mailed directly to the guest's PDA.

The hotel's 10,000 square-feet of meeting space was revamped to include a sleek new look in chic shades of teal blue, burnt orange and espresso. New furniture, paint and d'ecor make the Club a hot spot for meetings and events-don't miss the framed black and white photos on display in the billiards area of some celebrities who have stayed at The Magnolia.

"I am so proud to unveil our new renovation," said Linda Fisher, general manager of The Magnolia Hotel for the past 17 years. "It's incredible to experience the transformation of a hotel that opened as one of Denver's first independent hotels in 1995, and has evolved into a true boutique hotel masterpiece. I am so pleased with the amazing results of our new look."

As part of the $7 million renovation, other new upgrades/additions include:
