MINNEAPOLIS. MN, February 18, 2009 - The opening of the 210-room Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown in Minneapolis, Minn., represents another addition to the brand's growing collection of more than 400 Hilton Garden Inn locations across North America, Europe and Central America.

The Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown is a joint venture of Global One Commercial, LLC and First Hospitality Group, Inc. and operated by First Hospitality Group, Inc. under a license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation.

The 10-story Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Downtown features guestrooms and suites offering the Garden Sleep System(R) bed, ergonomic Mirra(R) chair by Herman Miller, complimentary wired and Wi-Fi high speed Internet access, high definition flat screen television, and a clock that allows guests to play their MP3 player. The hotel also features a complimentary 24-hour business center, a comfortable lounge area to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or unwind at the end of the day, and five meeting rooms offering 3,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.

For dining options, the hotel features the Great American Grill(R) restaurant offering freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner, evening room service and the 24-hour Pavilion Pantry(R) convenience mart with a selection of refrigerated, frozen and microwaveable packaged items, and sundries.

Recreational facilities at the hotel include a complimentary fitness center featuring Precor(R) cardio and strength equipment and Stay Fit Kits(R) that can be checked out from the hotel front desk that allows guests to do yoga, Pilates and core workouts in the privacy of their guestroom or in the workout facility.
