Rezidor Announces Boutique Paris Hotel
FEBRUARY 27, 2009 - Rezidor Hotel Group, the Brussels-based hotel management company, announces a new boutique hotel in its growing portfolio in Paris. The Radisson Blu Le Dokhan's Hotel, Paris Trocad'ero opens in the 16th arrondissement, joining nine other Radisson Blu properties in Paris.
Located in a former private residence dating back to the 18th Century, the Radisson Blu Le Dokhan's Hotel is within walking distance from the Champs Elys'ees, Arc de Triomphe, and Eiffel Tower.
The 45-key property features a restored Haussmann exterior and interiors by French designer Fr'ed'eric M'echiche. An elevator created from a vintage Louis Vuitton wardrobe trunk highlights unique hotel interiors. Additional design features include neo-classical furnishings; an original art collection complimented by traveling exhibitions in the hotel lobby; and four signature suites with distinctive design schemes, "Kleber," "Bagatelle," "Eiffel" and "Ming."
The property also offers a historic champagne bar, Le Dokhan Bar. Paris' first champagne bar, Le Dokhan Bar features live music, late hours, and an extensive menu of champagnes and fine wines. Other hotel amenities include 24-hour room service and complimentary internet access.
Rezidor first arrived in Paris in 1997 with a hotel at Charles De Gaulle Airport.
