Sill Retains Boyken to Estimate Hurricane Repair Costs For 10 Hotels, 10 Apartments, 3 Condos

ATLANTA, GA, June 17, 2005. Insurance adjuster Alex N. Sill Company has retained construction consultant Boyken International to estimate the costs of restoring 10 hotels and resorts 10 apartment buildings and three condominiums to their condition prior to the ravages of the 2004 hurricane season. These estimates are being used in negotiations with various insurance companies.

"We're applying our cost-estimating resources usually focused on new construction to determine fair costs for repairs in the aftermath of the relentless hurricanes last year," explained Donald R. The 10 hospitality properties range from Breezes Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and the Guanahani Village Resort in the Bahamas to the Holiday Inn Sun Spree Resort in Jacksonville Beach , Fla. and the Bahama House Hotel in Daytona Beach , Fla. Three of the properties are in Pensacola , Fla. : Hilton Garden Inn, Best Western Perdido Key Beach and Innisfree Hotel's Beachside Resort. The assignment also includes apartment buildings, condominiums and businesses affected by the hurricanes or other storms. Apartment buildings include Center Ridge in Mobile, Ala.; Forest Creek in Houston, Woodland Meadows in Columbus , Ohio and seven in the Bahamas. Condominiums include Perdido Skye, Portofino and the Verandas in Pensacola.
