Adolfo Mesa Named GM of Wave Hotel in Miami Beach, FL

MIAMI, FL, January 18, 2006. Desires HotelsTM, the boutique division of Tecton Hospitality, today announced that it has named Adolfo Mesa general manager of the Wave Hotel in Miami Beach, Fla. The Wave Hotel, a four-story, 66-room hotel located at 350 Ocean Drive, was Tecton's first South Beach property and one of the first boutique hotels to be added to its Desires Hotels portfolio.

Mesa previously was a rooms director with Wyndham International in Dania Beach, Fla., where he was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 388-room hotel. Prior to this, he was a director of revenue management with Interstate Hotels in Miami, where he was responsible for administering all room revenue aspects of the hotel.

Tecton Hospitality provides a wide range of management services to both institutional and individual owners of hotels in the United States and Caribbean. The Miami-based company operates branded hotels, including full-service properties and resorts under the Sheraton, Marriott, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn and Best Western names, as well as boutique hotels through the Desires boutique-hotels division.
