. October 14, 2008

SHELTON, CT, July 12, 2005. New Castle Hotels & Resorts, a leading third-party manager for the hospitality industry, has been tapped to manage the Brookwood Inn, a 108-room boutique hotel in Pittsford, N.Y.

Marketing the sweeping renovations recently completed throughout the hotel will be a key element of New Castle's management mission, says Gerald P. Chase, president, chief operating officer of New Castle. Owners Widewaters Hotel Management LLC, who purchased the 17-year-old Brookwood Inn in April 2004, undertook a multi-million dollar renovation that encompassed meeting space, public areas, pool and workout areas, and guest rooms. Free high-speed wireless Internet was installed and a restaurant, the Peter Geyer Steak House, was opened as part of the renovation.

"With nearly 2,800 square feet of renovated function space, the Brookwood Inn is well positioned to pursue executive meetings and social events for up to 60 people," notes Chase. "New guest room furniture, including our exclusive Brookwood Bed, has been chosen with the comfort of both business travelers and leisure guests in mind. We are pleased to be associated with this jewel of the Rochester area."

New Castle Hotels & Resorts assumed management of the Brookwood Inn on July 1. The company, known as both a third-party manager and hotel owner/developer, has a solid history of successful management of properties in highly competitive markets throughout the northeast, including Shelton, Connecticut; Brookline, Massachusetts and Tarrytown, New York.
