UK Warns Against Travel to Guinea

. October 14, 2008

JANUARY 24, 2007. The UK Foreign Office today revised its travel advice for Guinea. Due to escalating disturbances arising from strike action, we are now advising against all travel throughout Guinea.

The amended point in the summary now reads:

We advise against all travel to Guinea following clashes in Conakry resulting in deaths of civilians. British nationals already in Guinea should keep a low profile and keep up to date with events.
