New designer hotel to open in September 2005
BRUSSELS, EU, August 8, 2005. Rezidor SAS, the Brussels-based hospitality company, announces the new Radisson SAS Media Harbour Hotel D"usseldorf, slated to open in September 2005 in the city's bustling Medienhafen district. The new hotel is the second Radisson SAS hotel in D"usseldorf, joining the Radisson SAS Hotel in the city center.
The Radisson SAS Media Harbour Hotel D"usseldorf offers 135 rooms and suites, two executive boardrooms and a wellness area. Internationally renowned interior designer Matteo Thun, known for his work on the new United Nations building in Geneva and several properties in Europe and Asia, designed the interior of the hotel.
The hotel's restaurant and bar offer fresh and simple Italian food in a stylish and busy piazza overlooking an outdoor terrace and landscaped garden. Additional dining is available in a private dining room and a smaller courtyard, while wine tastings are available in the hotel's signature wine cellar.
