Bacara Resort & Spa, the elegant seaside retreat on the Gaviota Coast, will begin celebrating Labor Day Weekend on Sept. 1 with a Basque Catalonian food festival (through Sept. 4) featuring special gourmet offerings such as a picturesque evening of 'Tapas on the Terrace' overlooking the California coastline, a six-course wine paired dinner at Mir'o, Bacara's signature fine dining restaurant, and a picnic lunch at The Ranch with San Francisco's renowned Chef Gerald Hirigoyen, Consulting Chef at Mir'o.

Additionally, guests booking a Suite for the weekend will enjoy an exclusive preview of the 2005 Rolls-Royce Phantom, consisting of a three-hour 'Ride and Drive' and wine reception with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars-Beverly Hills on Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 3 and 4). And all guests can enjoy Stargazing Sunday and Monday Moonlighting (Sept. 4 and 5) with Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit's Chuck McPartland, who will discuss and show guests galaxies, stars, satellites and other wonders of the night sky.
