Ealing Hotel Transformed by Over $15 Million Conversion and Redesign

LONDON - June 7, 2013 - DoubleTree by Hilton, Hilton Worldwide's fastest growing full service brand, today opened the doors to its newest London hotel in Ealing. This latest addition brings the total number of DoubleTree by Hilton hotels in the capital to eight and marks the brand's 20th UK property.

Located just a few minutes' walk from London Ealing underground and overground station, the 189-room DoubleTree by Hilton London - Ealing offers spacious in-room work areas as well as tech-friendly stations in the hotel's bar and lounge. These areas incorporate seating with built in power outlets, ideal for convenient laptop use, providing an inviting atmosphere for business travellers and a relaxed setting for informal meetings.

The restaurant, W5 Grill & Bar, specialises in grill dishes, using locally sourced ingredients. The dining room's design is warm and contemporary, incorporating leather fabrics, honey oak and splashes of taupe. The restaurant also features a terrace for al fresco dining.

DoubleTree by Hilton London - Ealing has six meeting rooms, accommodating up to 240 guests banquet style. The flexible space can be arranged to accommodate intimate or large business meetings as well as social gatherings and celebrations such as weddings, birthdays and christenings.

The hotel takes design inspiration from its natural surroundings using warm beiges and timber shades, with splashes of burnt orange hues to transform and create a modern look. Illuminated artwork panels showcase natural tree silhouettes, which are encased in aluminium bronze-finished boxing to create additional atmosphere.
