. October 14, 2008

BEVERLY HILLS, CA, March 15, 2007. Doubletree Hotels, a member of the Hilton Family of Hotels, today announced they have become an official sponsor of the U.S. National Soccer Teams.

As part of this new relationship with U.S. Soccer(R), the national governing body of the sport of soccer in the United States, Doubletree will sponsor the U.S. Men's National Soccer Team; the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team and the U.S. Youth National Soccer Teams. The agreement extends through the 2007 Women's World Cup and the 2007 Pan American Games with an option to extend the term for additional years - which could support U.S. Soccer's participation in the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Beijing, China.

'During the past decade, the popularity of soccer has grown leaps and bounds in the United States. The members of the U.S. National Soccer Teams represent true excellence in this sport and Doubletree is excited to work with U.S. Soccer to celebrate the spirit of the game at its more than 150 locations across the United States,' said Dave Horton, senior vice president - brand management for Doubletree.

As part of its U.S. Soccer sponsorship, Doubletree Hotels will offer its 'Team USA(TM) Advantage' program to U.S. Soccer members and its fans as well. This unique travel program provides discounted room rates and direct support to help teams offset their current and future travel expenses through marketing contributions, Hilton HHonors(R) Diamond and Gold VIP memberships, and discounted room packages. When travel is booked through Team USA(TM) Advantage, teams or individuals will receive a discount off the best available rate at more than 180 Doubletree hotels and nearly 2,400 participating Hilton Family hotel properties*, with a donation to be made directly to U.S. Soccer.

"Doubletree Hotels is a great addition to the family of sponsors supporting U.S. Soccer's National Team program," said U.S. Soccer president Sunil Gulati. "We have a number of major competitions coming up this year for all of our teams, and with that, a lot of travel, so the time is perfect for an enthusiastic partner like Doubletree to get behind us with their support."

Doubletree is exploring several opportunities to further promote its new soccer relationship and will introduce a variety of promotions and special offers in upcoming months.

The Doubletree brand's sponsorship of U.S. Soccer is an extension of the Hilton Family of Hotels' U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Team sponsorship. The Hilton Family of Hotels - which includes Hilton, Conrad, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Grand Vacations and Homewood Suites by Hilton - maintains a longstanding relationship with the U.S. Olympic Committee, and in January 2005, announced a Family-wide sponsorship of the U.S. Olympic, Paralympic and Pan American teams that extends through the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
