DESTIN, FL, March 23, 2007. Everything old will soon be new again at the Henderson Park Inn Bed & Breakfast, thanks to The Sterling Companies. The company, one of northwest Florida's leading full-service resort, development, sales and management firms, was recently selected by Dunavant Gulf LLC, the owners of the Henderson Park Inn, to handle renovations and resort management for the landmark bed & breakfast.

Scheduled to reopen on May 1, the stately, 35-room New England-style bed & breakfast is situated adjacent to the 208-acre Henderson Beach State Park at 2700 Scenic Beach Hwy 98. The property's location will offer visitors 1.2 miles of unobstructed Gulf views, easy access to the park's more than 6,000 feet of pristine sugar-white sand beaches and shoreline, as well as a short drive to Destin's best restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

"The Sterling Companies is honored to have a role in the rebirth of this charming bed & breakfast," said Jim Olin, The Sterling Companies' managing partner. "The Henderson Park Inn has always been a truly special destination for travelers in search of a romantic getaway on Florida's Emerald Coast and we look forward to creating memories for more travelers in the upcoming years."

Once popular with couples and travelers seeking a romantic retreat, the renovated Henderson Park Inn will continue to feature many amenities loved by past visitors, including spacious rooms and suites with terraces or balconies overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, private bathrooms and, in many cases, fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. In addition, all rooms will offer guests a microwave, mini-refrigerator, cable TV and VCR/DVD player. Beyond in-room amenities, the property will offer a continental breakfast, beachside Jacuzzi and exclusive access to golf at the nearby Fred Couples championship course at Kelly Plantation.

"The passion of past guests at the Henderson Park Inn truly inspired us to revive this landmark bed & breakfast," said William Hagerman, Dunavant Enterprises' senior vice president of real estate operations. "Everyone at Dunavant is extremely excited to bring this treasured bed & breakfast back to life and, by partnering with The Sterling Companies, this property will quickly return to its past glory as a jewel of the Emerald Coast."
