Dolce Appoints Carl L. Cohen as Chief S&MO, International

MONTVALE, NJ, January 30, 2008. Dolce International, a global hospitality company specializing in providing a superior meetings experience, today announced that it has appointed Carl L. Cohen as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. In his new position, Cohen will be responsible for overall management and leadership for the company-wide sales and marketing functions for Dolce's growing portfolio of Hotel, Resort & Conference Destinations.

Previously in his sales and marketing career, Cohen was a Senior Vice President at Starwood Hotels and Resorts where he was responsible for the introduction of broadband services at more than 600 hotels globally; leadership of a 100 person team responsible for integrating relationship marketing, technology and guest services through the use of Starwood's Galaxy Hotel Systems; and creation of a global reservation and loyalty marketing system which increases revenues by 20%.

Prior to joining Dolce, Cohen was President of the Marketing Solutions Division of Dendrite International, an Internet, Direct Response and Relationship Marketing firm based in Bedminster, New Jersey. He began his marketing career in the consumer products industry, holding brand management positions at Colgate-Palmolive and Phillip Morris USA. He also served as Director of Marketing for Ryder System in Miami, and as Executive Vice President of Marketing for the IndyCar Racing League in Troy, Michigan.

Cohen holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a degree in Accounting and Spanish from the State University of New York at Albany.
