NEW YORK, NY. MAY 31, 2017 - The William Vale, a multiuse destination located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, proudly welcomes Susan Choi-Grant as the Director of Sales and Marketing. A hospitality veteran, Susan will direct and manage The William Vale's sales and catering team; bringing with her an expertise in new business development, market share increase, and revenue generation and growth.

“As we continue to strengthen our presence and brand both locally and globally, Susan will be a major asset to our team in building and maintaining authentic relationships for The William Vale,” said Sebastien Maingourd, General Manager of the property. “I am confident Susan's established knowledge of the industry will also increase our overall sales productivity.”

The William Vale, a resort-like destination, offers a range of public spaces onsite, as well as venues for weddings and conferences. It also boasts one of the largest ballrooms in Brooklyn, which can accommodate up to 300 guests. All food & beverage, including catering, comes from award-winning Chef Andrew Carmellini and NoHo Hospitality Group. Additional food and beverage outlets onsite include, Leuca, a southern Italian restaurant; Westlight, a rooftop bar serving craft cocktails and streetfood inspired snacks; and Mister Dips, a cheeky retrofitted 1970s trailer serving burgers, fries and dairy dips.

Susan will lead and execute multiple programs, generating a higher flow through and return on investment. With a strong background in sales and marketing, Susan has been responsible for successful outcomes in leading travel and tourism destinations including AKA Central Park, Trump SoHo and The Peninsula Beverly Hills. She showed her versatility in both the east and west coast tourism sectors by splitting her work at the St. Regis Resort, Monarch Beach from New York and in California.

“After my previous role as Managing Director at AKA Central Park, I am able to bring my knowledge of Manhattan business and tourism demand and introduce them to the distinct advantages of Brooklyn,” stated Susan. “Originally from the West Coast and having studied hospitality abroad, I plan to incorporate that experience as we increase awareness of our brand both domestically and internationally.”

Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in the School of Social Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley majoring in International Trade and Relations. She did her graduate studies at Belvoirpark Hotelfachschule in Zurich, Switzerland. Susan currently lives with her husband in Manhattan and during her free time enjoys golf.
