Quore Receives Top Accolades from Hotel Tech Report

Nashville, TN. February 27, 2018 -

Quore, the hospitality industry’s first mobile solution, has been recognized as a leading innovator in hotel technology with multiple Hotel Tech Awards, a data-driven awards program led by Hotel Tech Report. The award program is the only one of its kind to use real customer data to highlight best-of-breed software solutions for hoteliers to choose the best technology for their properties.

Based on data collected by Hotel Tech Report from thousands of hoteliers worldwide, Quore was named the number-one Housekeeping Management Software solution and ranked among the top in the Engineering and Staff Task Management & Collaboration categories out of over 100 of the world’s top hotel technology products. Quore was also named a Top Place to Work in Hotel Tech in 2018.

“We are honored to be recognized by Hotel Tech Report as a trailblazer in the industry, and are so grateful for the overwhelming support received from our customers,” said Scott Schaedle, founder and president of Quore. “In just the past year, Quore has achieved several major milestones, and we look forward to continuing our commitment to innovation for our customers.”

While Quore’s new housekeeping feature has not yet been released, its beta users elevated the tool to the number-one position in housekeeping, citing Cleanings Plus as a “life-changer” for keeping up with housekeeping staff and managing internal operations.

“Quore’s ability to track all departments means that I can see what is happening at my hotel in a glance, where my problems are, how many rooms housekeeping has cleaned so far for the day and were we are on our preventative maintenance - all of it at the touch of my fingers,” wrote Allyson Trull, general manager of multiple Nashville-area Holiday Inn Express properties.

Hotel Tech Report also measures vendor performance by ease of use, ROI, support and onboarding. In each of these categories, Quore outperformed the average by more than 10 percent.

Guest Service: Empowering People

Excellent customer service is vitally important in all businesses but it is especially important for hotels where customer service is the lifeblood of the business. Outstanding customer service is essential in creating new customers, retaining existing customers, and cultivating referrals for future customers. Employees who meet and exceed guest expectations are critical to a hotel's success, and it begins with the hiring process. It is imperative for HR personnel to screen for and hire people who inherently possess customer-friendly traits - empathy, warmth and conscientiousness - which allow them to serve guests naturally and authentically. Trait-based hiring means considering more than just a candidate's technical skills and background; it means looking for and selecting employees who naturally desire to take care of people, who derive satisfaction and pleasure from fulfilling guests' needs, and who don't consider customer service to be a chore. Without the presence of these specific traits and attributes, it is difficult for an employee to provide genuine hospitality. Once that kind of employee has been hired, it is necessary to empower them. Some forward-thinking hotels empower their employees to proactively fix customer problems without having to wait for management approval. This employee empowerment—the permission to be creative, and even having the authority to spend money on a customer's behalf - is a resourceful way to resolve guest problems quickly and efficiently. When management places their faith in an employee's good judgment, it inspires a sense of trust and provides a sense of higher purpose beyond a simple paycheck. The April issue of the Hotel Business Review will document what some leading hotels are doing to cultivate and manage guest satisfaction in their operations.
